In a huge marketing stunt, it appears Epic has deleted Fortnite from their roster. Not only is Fortnite‘s official website and or store page gone and replaced with a livestream, but its Twitter has also been purged with only a livestream to take its place. The account reportedly had over 12,000 tweets tied to it.

It’s unlikely the game will disappear into the void (pun intended) as they were making their way to the next big update which – among other things – would add bots to the game. Bots would be used to curb the problematic matchmaking system, which pins players of all skill levels against each other.
A weird piece of information fans have found though, is a minigame fans can play as they wait tirelessly for the world to sprout back to life. If you enter the Konami Code (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A), a minigame will start. The minigame is a game of Galaga.
